Welcome to Woodland Yoga – my site is dedicated to guiding individuals towards holistic well-being. To make yoga as easy and accessible as possible to my dear friends in the yoga community I offer sessions online. Doing yoga in your own comfortable home environment makes practice as easy as rolling out your mat.
I enjoy leading small, intimate group classes online which hopefully foster connection and shared growth. This seems to resonate with clients.
In addition to classes online, I also teach in person at Three Rivers Yoga studio in Coraopolis, probably the longest tenured and most admired of Pittsburgh yoga studios .

In the early 1990’s I became a yoga student. Since then, I have undergone extensive training to master teaching the practice of yoga and the art of yoga instruction. I have completed 500 hours of yoga teacher training accredited by Yoga Alliance and have gained over 2000 hours teaching yoga. I am registered with Yoga Alliance as an ERYT-500 (Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher) and have acquired the designation YACEP (Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider).
I have volunteered teaching yoga classes at many venues in the Pittsburgh and North Hills areas such Miriam’s Women’s Shelter and The Olive Branch Fair Trade store.
I have also completed Reiki Master certification and offer private reiki sessions upon request.
I am very grateful for the friendships yoga has facilitated and to my teachers for helping me deepen awarenes, equanimity and energy in making yoga accessible and beneficial for everyone who strives to maintain the mindfulness that a yoga practice brings.
